The first time I was in Playa del Carmen was in 1994. A fisherman village with 3 resorts. Paradise. Coming back in 2008 has been surprising, the fisherman village converted in a small tourist town with all you want. Beaches, party and fun. In 2018 Playa del Carmen has evolved to a city – full of tourists and loosing all its charm.
